Seminário "Stability of black holes and solitons in Anti-de Sitter space-time"
Na sexta-feira, 24/01/2014, às 11 horas, no Auditório da Pós-Graduação em Física, teremos o seminários intitulado "Stability of black holes and solitons in Anti-de Sitter space-time", a ser ministrado pelo Prof. Betti Hartmann (UFES / Jacobs University - Alemanha).
Resumo:
“In this talk, I will discuss the stability of black holes and solitons in (d+1)-dimensional Anti-de Sitter (AdS) space-time against scalar field condensation. The resulting solutions are "hairy" black holes and solitons, respectively. I will focus on static solutions and will in particular emphasize the influence of higher order curvature terms, but will also mention results on rotating solutions. The results have applications within the AdS/CFT correspondence and describe e.g. holographic insulator/ conductor/superconductor phase transitions.”
