Selection processes
The program admits prospective masters degree candidates twice a year in the first and second semesters, with classes starting in March and August. Usually, the selection process includes a basic physics exam, two letters of reference, analysis of candidates curriculum vitae. The program admits prospective doctoral degree candidates twice a year in the first and second semesters, with classes starting in March and August. Usually, the selection process includes a basic physics exam, two letters of reference, analysis of candidates curriculum vitae and the submission of a research project. Special student
Special Students are master´s and doctoral prospective candidates who have not been admitted to a degree program but who are taking degree-credit courses in order to qualify for future admissions, to improve professional qualifications, to transfer credits, or for personal interest in the area of study. The selection of special students includes a specific subject matter exam. Exceptionally, special students may be admitted as regular masters or doctoral students if they maintain a satisfactory academic standing, as assessed by the selection committee.
